Minara Resources, Australia's second largest nickel producer, asked RMS to provide RTO partnering, training resource development, skilled recruitment, traineeship services and on-site consulting.

After discussing the major issues with key stakeholders at Minara Resources, RMS prepared a comprehensive training program. One of the key features included "tyre awareness" for operators, which contributed to more than a 100% increase in tyre life, from a 4,900 hour average to over 10,000 hours.

Minara Resources, in conjunction with RMS, also pioneered an innovative dump truck traineeship spanning six months per intake. This initiative has allowed over 150 candidates to gain a career in mining whilst also providing Minara Resources with unparalleled staff retention.
