GETTING STARTED IN MINING

A career in the mining and civil indutries is an exciting and rewarding opportunity, especially on the back of strong demand for mining personnel in WA. Current forecasting points at a need for 56,000 extra mining employees by 2020.

Whilst there are many opportunities within the industry, getting the initial start can be frustrating and hard, especially without any prior experience or formal training.

RMS has designed a highly regarded Dump Truck Training Course specifically designed to assist candidates wishing to enter the mining or civil industries for the first time. The course runs for 5 days and is priced at $2,990. Training is conducted on RMS’ 100-ton Komatsu Dump Truck, the most modern training dump truck in Perth. Participants that successfully complete this course will get a nationally recognised Mobile Plant Operator Certificate for Haul Trucks as well as recruitment assistance.
