TRAINING

Richards Mining Services is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) with a scope to deliver the Metalliferous Mining, Coal and Civil packages as well as Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

The RMS Heavy Vehicle Training School is intended for those seeking any heavy vehicle licence, from MR right through to MC. The RMS fleet is composed of all late model trucks with commonality to ensure a smooth learning transition from one class to the next.

RMS also offers a variety of vocational courses, including;

• Safety Awareness (Blue Card)
• Forklift
• Elevated Work Platform
• Confined Space Entry
• Working From Heights
• Skid Steer
• Minestart

Onsite mobile plant operator training and assessment, including verification of competency (VOC), is a RMS specialty. Our highly trained staff work either independently or alongside our client’s trainers and assessors in ensuring that operator efficiency, safety and best practice is improved.

Tailored training to suit client needs can be delivered as required.

RMS also provides traineeships for the mining, transport and civil industries.
