The Dogging course imparts the skills and knowledge to enable participants to apply appropriate slinging techniques, select appropriate lifting gear and provide direction to crane operators in regard to the lifting of a variety of loads.
Dogging is classified as a High Risk competency and RMS employs some of the industry's most experienced and sought after WorkSafe trainers.

This thorough course provides theoretical and practical components to ensure participants learn about dogging skills such as:
- Applicable legislation regarding dogging
- Duty of care
- Appropriate planning and risk assessments of dogging tasks
- Inspecting and selecting appropriate lifting gear, including slings, ropes and wires
- Calculation of mass
- Rigging appliances
- Dogging related communication and hand signals

WorkSafe High Risk Licence to Perform Dogging
Participants must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have 2 x forms of identification on the day of training
- Wear fully enclosed shoes on the day of training
- Present 2 x passport photos on the day of training
- Good verbal and written comprehension of the English language
RMS can take passport photos on the day of training for a cost of $15
