MOBILE PLANT TRAINING

RMS specialises in mobile plant operator training for both the civil and mining industries.

RMS is highly regarded in the mining industry and works closely with leading mines on a day to day basis. As such RMS knows what mines are looking for and the key skills required upfront before getting a first time job can become a reality.

RMS operates its own fleet of modern mobile plant equipment, consisting of 100-ton dump truck, dozer, grader, front-end loader and excavator, at a 60-hectre training mine site north of Perth. Coupled with state of the art training centres in Joondalup, Wangara and Mandurah and some of the industries best trainers, there is no better place to commence training for a job in mining or civil than RMS.

RMS offers individual machine training options including our renowned Dump Truck Training Course that runs for 5 days and is priced at $2,990. Training is conducted on RMS’ 100-ton Komatsu Dump Truck, the most modern training dump truck in Perth. Participants that successfully complete this course will get a nationally recognised Mobile Plant Operator Certificate for Haul Trucks as well as recruitment assistance.

For those not sure if mining is for them RMS offers a 2 day Introduction to Mobile Plant Operation course for only $990 which can be upgraded to the full Dump Truck Training Course at any time.

Training for all other machines are offered as either 1-day experienced or 2-day inexperienced options with successful participants being issues a nationally recognised Mobile Plant Operator Certificate for the relevant machine.

RMS also offers mobile plant operators with more than 400 hours experience to have their skills recognised to a national competency standard through our Experienced Operator Assessments.
