Technical Writer
Due to our ongoing growth an opportunity has presented itself to appoint a Technical Writer.
This role will work with the current team of in-house RMS Technical Writers developing training manuals mapped to AQTF training packages.

Position description
- Development of training manuals, assessments and support material mapped to national competencies
- Subject matter experts are available for consultation but individual research is also required.
- Review existing training manuals and documents by mapping them to AQTF standards
- Modify and add to manuals to meet new qualification standards
- Proof reading and formatting of documents
- Assistance with development of assessment tools and training aids
- General administration
Skills and knowledge
- Previous experience as a technical writer essential
- Experience writing training materials an advantage
- Strong understanding of the AQTF framework essential
- Cert IV TAE40110 essential
- Strong technical writing skills
- Strong competence in MSOffice products
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously or in a close-knit team
